Declan
I’m destined to become the next CEO of my family’s media empire. The only problem? My grandfather’s inheritance clause. Fulfilling his dying wish of getting married and having an heir seemed impossible until my assistant volunteers for the job. Our marriage was supposed to be the perfect solution to my biggest problem. But the more we act in love for the public, the more unsure I feel about our contract. Caring about Iris was never part of the deal. Especially not when breaking her heart is inevitable.

Iris
My plan to marry Declan was simple in theory. Move in together. Throw a wedding. Have a baby. We set rules to prevent any kind of issues. Ones that were never meant to be broken, no matter how much Declan tempts me. But what happens when our fake relationship bleeds into our real one? Falling in love was never an option. At least not for me.

Review

Long and short of it: Fun, angst, happily ever after romance that works great as a palate cleanser!

So, I there I was, stuck in the middle of another long reading slump and unable to find something to get me back into reading when I decided to look at the romance section of Kindle Unlimited. What was I looking for? Honestly? You want the shameful truth? I was looking for something akin to those visual novel story apps because I gave those up after having to grind for gems/diamonds/whatever just to move the story along. That’s when I found the Dreamland Billionaires series. I absolutely devoured The Fine Print, book 1 in the series, finishing it in four days between work and holiday outings, and fell in love with one of the side characters.

Thankfully, Declan received his own book, Terms and Conditions. Where The Fine Print was cute, this second book in the series gave me exactly what I wanted. A tsundere target of affection, and a bubbly fairly obtuse main character. We had office romance, and my favorite, fake marriage of convenience. It was a quick read and definitely left me squealing into my pillow on multiple occasions.

What I especially love about this book and series in general, there is plot and character progression! It isn’t simply sex scenes with flat characters. The romance makes sense and the sex follows accordingly. Characters change and grow as the book progresses, but still feel true to themselves at heart.

I cannot wait to start the final book in the trilogy, but I’m also scared. Will I have to pick up Lauren Asher’s F1 romance series to fill the need???
